Introducing: Emma Rose!
We met the youngest member of the Petre family today. She is such a beautiful baby! She was understandably reserved with us at first, but by the end of the visit we saw a few smiles. We had a chance to give her a snack, and were impressed by how quickly she was able to eat 2 cookies and finish her drink. We played with her, and found that she likes toys that make sounds, and really likes to bang toys together. She is able to take a few steps holding onto our fingers. We haven't heard a peep from her yet. She didn't cry when she was left in the visitation room with us, but she was a little hesitant. We look forward to seeing her again tomorrow, and hopefully to hear her voice soon.

Grandma was waiting anxiously at her computer for news of her youngest grandchild. She is indeed beautiful! I'm so happy for all of us that she'll soon be part of our family.
The boys are doing fine, but I think May misses you. She was standing by your car when I left the other night.
Have fun with that little darling; and when she's ready, give her a big hug from Grandma. Hugs to you and Jim also.

Hey, what a beautiful little girl! And brave too, as she looks like she is handling Jim's ugly mug rather well. Hope you guy's are enjoying this adventure God has gifted you, and know the Petre family is in our parish weekly prayers during Mass. We are doing fine here, miss you, but holding the fort. Loved the new photos! Emma looks more relaxed and much brighter. It sounds like she has a good appetite. Lea & Carlee looked at Emma's photos and said, "She looks like us!" Enjoy that sweet baby.
